I really miss my language school !!

As you know, I just started studying in the EAP Program this term, yet I have studied in a small language school called Ubridge College for over a half years and the field of study is TOEFL. Although I studied TOEFL there, the teacher did not always concentrate on it; however, I learned a lot of basic English, which especially improved my spoken English and reading. Ourteacher was so nice that I could even bugging with her sometimes, I found I learned a lot during these interesting conversations. The class time was from 9:30 A.M to 3:30 P.M and I have to eat lunch at school. Also the life seemed so weird to me, but it was my first school life in Canada and I enjoy it definitely. The study project was not so busy compared to our EAP Program; still I learned many new knowledge such as read newspaper everyday and do presentation every week.
The school was established by Taiwanese people, so I met lots of Taiwanese friends there, as well as some Korean, they were very nice and I did not lose torch with some of them. Yesterday, I chatted with one of my Korean friends who just arrived in Korea. We missed each other so much and I hope I can pay a visit to him in Seoul one day. Anyway, the life I spent in the school left me unforgettable expression and I will remember it forever.

WCG 2007

WCG, which is short for World Cyber Games, is the world wide game competition match. Since the E-sports became very popular nowadays, lots of matches were held, lots of clubs were established; just as other sports such as soccer and basketball, E-sports can be a member of sports family and have both matches and players, while the WCG is the biggest one and it started in the year of 2001, which is held in Seoul, Korea. At first, it was not accepted by people because they had misconception of games; however, with the time moved on, the E-sports became an essential element for many people's lives.

The WCG is held annually and this year, 2007 it will be held in Seattle, the USA. Now people are voting what games will be placed in the match of this time. Of couse Warcraft, Starcraft and Counterstrike can be chosen for sure, but it is quite fair that every game has an opportunity to get into the match. If it is possible, the FIFA 07 could be replaced by the NBA Live 07. Anyway, I hope China will have a wonderful performance in this time, also I have confidence that either SKY or FLY can be the champion in the Warcraft.

A busy month....

Holly~~ This month---July, is so busy for me that I almost can not handle it...I really cannot understand why everything comes to this month together!! Play tricks with me ???
Let me summarize them: Whole bunch of assignment + Final + Renew the study permit + Finding a new apartment + three days working per week + Deal with complex relationship with my friends + Cooking everyday + No Internet at home!!!
All the things above are needed to be done in only 20 days!!
Suddenly I remembered a classic words: If the God wanna destroy a person, the God must drive him/her crazy first; HOWEVER, I had been crazy for a long time and why the God did not destroy me ????

Free Breakfast

This morning, I and my roommate Alex went to the U of C and had a free breakfast. The location is near the Engineering block and it lasted from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. The reason for the free meal is obvious if you pay attention to the news recently.
Jiacheng lee, who is the richest person in Asia, has donated 3 million CA dollars to the University of Calgary, actually the money went to the school of Engineering. So naturally, people who belong to this faculty need to treat everyone because of it. I don't know whether it is necessary; however, it is reasonable and at least in China people usually follow this rule. In any case, I had a free breakfast today, which has lots of fun because many people around there. We had beautiful music, people's laughing and of course, delicious food. Most important, I felt the future is bright due to the donation on the Engineering field. The chances are better than before, so what has been left is study hard.

I met Déjà Vu today

Due to the attending lecture tomorrow, I went to the classroom first in order to know the location. The lecture I will attend is an Engineering class because it is my major in the future. As soon as I arrived at Engineering Block, I found everything was so familiar to me, yet I was 100 percent sure that it was my first time to visit this building. Afterwards, I tried to find the the right class room which lies at the third floor. By the time I was walking on the steps, I felt surprised!! It was just like happened before and hard to remember the date. Then I got the classroom-----Oh my GOD!!! Exactly the same, I was quite sure that I underwent it and I checked some details such as the color of the door, also some other items near the classroom,
same, same but really cannot remember when it happened,so weird!! On the way I was back home, I still thought about it but no result. Perhaps it was Déjà Vu.
I heard Déjà Vu long time before; however, I did not believe it, for the statement is fake. Now I do! I found this phenomenon is based on a certain theory. I think everyone, because of our age, has met Déjà Vu, so do not feel strange next time, just for fun...
